A brand new toilet and shower block, with an adjoining fully equipped commercial kitchen, is nearing completion, and will fully functional when we go there. It will have an adjoining dining marquee with a solid floor, so food and drinks can be prepared and served easily.
There is ample space for outdoor games and activities.
The pitches are arranged around a central focal-point, with overhead flood-lighting. Overnight, there are low-output lights so you can see if you need to cross the field during the night! Two other marquees will be available for our use.
There should also be a bouncy castle, a trampoline and a paddling/small swimming pool for our use on the site.
Being about fifteen miles from the beautiful Sussex coast gives a great opportunity to visit attractive coastal towns such as Brighton, Eastbourne, Pevensey Bay and others.

There is a small village about a mile away, which has a church and various other fascinating features. A look at the memorial garden, in which are many superb wood carvings depicting various events and features of the village, is a 'must'! (There is clearly some connection between the village and motor bikes, but I didn't find out just what!)
A slightly larger village is about two miles away, with a comprehensive village shop, tea rooms and other facilities - even its own brewery!
A large town is about 8 miles away, and has many major shops including large supermarkets, banks etc., and free parking!
Nearby are many interesting walks. Swimming pools, castles, vineyards and a host of other attractions are all within easy reach.
At about 25 miles from the M25, it is not too far to travel (about 85 miles from Braintree or 60 miles from Chelmsford)
