What Is It?

Phoenix Christian Family Camp (PCFC) is a camp for families and adults, to run for one week - 16th to 22nd August 2008.

It's roots are with the now defunct Essex Christian Family Camp that ran for many years at Vauxhall Farm, Great Wenham, near Ipswich. Our new Phoenix Camp is at a more modern site towards the South Coast. (Click the 'Site Details' link from any page for maps and info, and the 'Photos' link for pictures of the site.)

The purpose of the Camp is to give non-Christians a chance to find out something of the faith in a relaxed, non-pressured holiday situation. It is also for Christians to develop their understanding of the faith and be challenged in new ways and thoughts.

But it is also a fun holiday with many activities, meals and social events going on for everyone.

There is no pressure to attend any of the meetings or activities, although we hope you will want to!

We welcome families of all ages, single adults and married couples. You do not have to be a Christian already, to come! Unfortunately, for a variety of reasons, we can't take bookings from unaccompanied under-18's.

The Camp is planned by a small team of people experienced in running such events.

Being a Camp, you will need a tent, trailer-tent, caravan or motorhome. If you have never been camping before, don't worry - some of us have a spare tent you could borrow (for a modest contribution!), so talk to us soon if you'd like to borrow one!
